2K Games has finally locked down a release date for the latest expansion pack for Civilization V. Civilization V: Gods & Kings will be available on shelves in June 19.

Civ V’s new expansion features religion and espionage components.

New additions include nine new leaders including Pacal the Great and William I. The expansion will also bring in new religion and espionage mechanics, as well as a reworked combat system and a more educated artificial intelligence. The game’s naval component will also be split in two, allowing for both melee and ranged types.

According to Amazon’s price listing, the expansion will be retailing at $29.99. For more information, check out GameSpot’s hands-on preview.
