As others have already said, you’re really only get a few dozen gems and tons of trash. Back in those days, the vast majority of games released were simply imitations of the really popular ones. I should know, since I bought a ton of those knockoffs even back in the NES days.

I suppose it’s because I don’t “get” the collector mentality, since I own hundreds of games because I wanted to entertain myself. I’ve got some of those rare games in near mint condition myself (FF2, FF4, SoM, CT, etc.), but I have no intention to ever sell them. Even with the size of this collection, $25000 seems exorbitant considering most of the games you’ll get are essentially worthless.

I’ll tell you one thing: if this set does include all the games released in the US, then that means Bebe’s Kids and Shaq Fu are in there…
