Metro: Last Light is a new and upcoming post-apocalyptic action game combining the thrill of 3rd person shooting action, horror and the means to survive in this treacherous world.
Unlike other major Zombie game series which are mostly set in the US, Metro differs. The world of the Last Light is set in the city of Moscow and the developers plan to make it one of the most immersive and intense game worlds that have ever been developed on this scale.

The game was originally planned to be released Summer of 2012, but with setbacks and extra testing, bug fixing and performance enhancements (which can only be a good thing right?), there are currently no set dates mentioned until after March 2013.

So, What are some Features of the Game you ask?

-Weapons
Metro Last Light boasts a huge rage of weapon options available, from guns and melee weapons you can find around you to homemade ones from gathering the right materials.
-Stealth
Not a new concept, but pretty new to Zombie shooters is the use and adaptation of Stealth within the game. This will add to the Horror effect and improve the ways in which you can annihilate your enemy, be it human or mutation.

With a true blend of all three, perfect action and bloody violence when your blasting away those pesky Zombies. Whether it is scouring the towns and abandoned buildings for left over supplies, weapons and ammo. New Graphics Technology that offers stunning realism, immersive lighting, realistic physics. PC’s and Consoles everywhere will be tested to their limits with these high quality world sets.

Storyline
Welcome to Moscow, set in the year 2034 right after the outbreak. It is not safe above the ground anymore; the last groups of mankind have taken shelter down in the Metro Tunnels as they make their last stand against the ever mutating plague of monsters that await.
Not only do we fight for safety from these creatures, but from the human groups that are stationed around the other platforms, we all fight for survival, even if it means fighting against our own kind.
There is talk of the ultimate doomsday weapon device, hidden in a vault which the military has had locked away for years. Maybe this could help us against this invasion of walking dead? The first group of humans to find it may just have a chance at living a normal life on this planet again. Worth The Wait?
Absolutely! After taking a good look into the game’s features and especially the graphic screenshots that have been released, Last Light seems to be well worth waiting for and maybe even pre ordering it ready. There are heaps of Zombie Shooters out there and in the making; however this one feels something different, something unique. I guess we will have to wait and see what the future holds!
