Review of the Monster High Ghouls Spirit Wii Game
The Monster High Ghouls Spirit Wii game is ideal for any younger Monster High fans who want to be able to create their very own spooky character and move around the halls of the famous Monster High school. The idea of the game is to firstly use a monster builder tool to build your own monster. You can customise its hair, skin tone, freaky flaw, clothes and so much more. This is really fun as it helps children’s imaginations and once the character has been created it is possible to save it for use at any time.
Using the monster character players have created the next step is to start to build their own creepy reputation in Monster High school. If they get a great reputation they will be crowned the Scream Queen during the Terror Under the Sea Dance which is at the end of the game. If the reputation hasn’t been built to a high enough level it is possible to start the game all over again and get it right the next time which encourages children to continue playing to succeed the next time round.
To build reputation the character needs to go to different rooms within the school and speak to characters who will then give them tasks that they need to do. These tasks are pretty straightforward to understand, although if you have very young children they might need a little bit of help with reading what they need to do. Tasks include things like trimming Clawdeen’s hair, being part of the fearleading squad, and placing curses on people. If you complete a task correctly popularity points in the form of hearts are given. The more that are collected, the more popular the character that has been created will be.
As the game goes on there are lots of mini games and tasks to undertake and these must be done in order to get onto the next stage. Thankfully these are not too hard which means that even younger fans of Monster High will be able to play the game with no problems. Once all of the games have been played and the popularity of the character has been decided it’s time for the Terror Under the Sea Dance. If you are crowned Scream Queen you have won the game, if you haven’t you can start again and make sure that you get all of the tasks right.

While playing the game it can seem like it is a little repetitive, but this shouldn’t be too much of a problem for younger players. The graphics and sounds are good and
there are sections of dialogue from other characters that will add to the overall appeal of the game which is good for Monster High fans who are looking for a simple challenge.
