Video Games Worse than Guns According to US Senator – News

Earlier on today whilst speaking to MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown, Tennessee Senator Lamar Alexander has suggested that “video games is a bigger problem than guns”. Why does Lamar think this? It’s simple really. It’s because “video games affect people”. That’s right folks, video games are worse than guns because they affect people.

However, to suggest that games are worse than guns because they affect people does – at least to me – seem to be a rather foolish argument. The only thing this statement has achieved is to highlight the fact that some politicians fail to understand that this issue is extraordinarily complex, and that it will not disappear if they attempt to use video games as a scapegoat.
